Prioritizing Your Well-Being Drives Success
The fear and frustration uncertain economic times, volume of work and capacity challenges, continued racial injustice, economic uncertainty, political divide, and inconsistent access to childcare, school and other services are wreaking havoc on our sense of well-being. It’s paramount that we take action to preserve our mental health, just as carefully as we manage our physical well-being. And yet, the subject of prioritizing well-being and mental health can feel awkward, and most are not comfortable discussing it at work. In this session, we’ll break down the barriers around this critical subject and explore strategies for managing our mental well-being in all stages of life, especially during uncertain times. We will:
- Identify the four areas of well-being
- Generate ways to take your mental health "temperature" and areas where you might need to make adjustments
- Learn strategies for preserving your mental health beyond the "usual" recommendations
- Identify the actions to take if you need additional support or to support others on your team
