CPE: 1.5 credit hours in the areas of Personal Development
The pandemic, racial uprising, economic uncertainty, the election, and inconsistent access to childcare and school are wreaking havoc on our sense of well-being, just in time for the holidays, an already stressful time. It’s paramount that we take action to preserve our mental health, just as carefully as we manage our physical well-being. And yet, the subject of mental health can feel awkward and we may not be comfortable discussing it at work. In this session, we’ll break down the barriers around this critical subject and explore strategies for managing our mental health during this uncertain time. In this session, we’ll discuss:
- Ways to take your mental health “temperature” and identify areas where you might need to make adjustment
- Strategies for preserving your mental health beyond the “usual” recommendations
- Steps to take if you need additional support
Take time out to attend this session and identify steps you can take to improve your overall well-being.
