As we all prepare to take off for the long holiday weekend, we thought we’d pay tribute to all American workers. Our country’s strength and standing was built on the hard work and labor of so many who sacrificed their time and energy to contribute to building (and maintaining) elements of our infrastructure like our railroads, highways, bridges, and so much more.

Our country’s wealth and our ability to thrive today and in the future lies in the work of the millions of industrious employees, government workers and union laborers who contribute their talents so that we all benefit.
While this holiday often signifies the turn to autumn – and one last summer hurrah for us all, it was originally intended to acknowledge and pay homage to the effort of the talented people to whom we owe our country’s bounty.

American workers in all industries, at all levels and of all ages – thank you for your contributions to our great nation!
